COVID – 19

We have a lot of news to share due to the current situation with the virus. We are still organising and planning and things are changing at such a fast pace but we will endeavor to keep you informed regarding all areas of the parish work.

Please be patient as we do not have all the answers. For now, please see some news below.

The Church will remain open for private individual prayer from 10.30 am to 5 pm each day except Sunday when the hours will be 12 noon – 5 pm.

All Masses are now cancelled but Fr Aidan will say Mass and this can only be viewed on our website, the Church will not be open for parishioners to come to Mass in the normal way.

Wednesday Adoration will be from 6 pm – 8 pm on 25th March only, then postponed. Friday Adoration is also cancelled.

First Holy Communion and Confirmation in the parish is postponed.

Weddings, christenings and funerals will go ahead though we need to advise families that attendance will be reduced. The parish office will advise you on this.

The parish hall will not be used for any normal weekly gatherings until further notice.

The Lent course is now cancelled

There will be either a bulletin or a news update online each week.

The parish office have massively reduced their hours in order to protect staff. Deirdre and Cathy will be available only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am – 1pm and should you need to call in person, we would encourage you to adhere to the “social distancing” advice issue by health authorities to keep you and us safe from infection; we would prefer that you call us or email [email protected]
