Further Update on COVID 19

Following government directives, our staff will mainly work from home. You may leave a message on the answer machine if your enquiry is urgent and this will be replied to as soon as possible but the best communication now is via our contact box on the website or email [email protected]

The Church is now totally closed to the public, baptisms will not go ahead at least during April, the Adoration on a Wednesday which was reduced to 6 pm – 8 pm is now cancelled and weddings are also postponed at this time.

Fr Aidan will however continue to celebrate Mass behind closed doors to an empty Church. Please join him when you can via our website link to live Mass.

We have had a few calls asking about Church envelopes and normal contributions and whilst we do not wish to make an appeal as such at a time like this, we do need to answer those enquiries.

We would ask parishioners to continue to put their normal contributions into their envelopes each week/month (if you can afford to do so) and when we are back to normal services, they can be offered to the Church in the normal way. If you feel you would like to set up a direct debit please make contact with us via email and we can forward the details you need to do so – you can do this easily from your armchair and it may be preferable for you at this time.

Lenadoon Forum are setting up a “Facebook SOS” page for those in our area who are vulnerable; elderly, those living alone, housebound etc who may be in need right now. If you wish to have your details passed to them please email us and we can pass it on.

We need a name, contact number, address and the reason you are making the approach.
